Fweem B.V. respects your privacy. This statement explains what personal data we process when you visit fweem.com, why we process it, and what rights you have. It covers this website only — work we carry out for clients is governed by the agreements, and where applicable the data processing agreements, that we conclude with them.

This website sets no cookies
We use no cookies, tracking pixels, advertising networks or social media embeds. Nothing is stored on your device or read from it, which is why there is no cookie banner to click away.
What we process
When you visit this site
As any web server does, the systems that serve this site record the technical data needed to deliver and protect it: your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, and what your browser reports about itself, such as its version and operating system.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in running a functioning, secure website.
Visitor statistics
We use Plausible Analytics to see how the site is used in aggregate: how many people visit, which pages they read, and broadly where they arrived from. Plausible is a privacy-focused analytics service hosted in the European Union that runs without cookies. It sets no persistent identifiers, does not follow you across websites or over time, and does not retain data that identifies you individually. What we see are counts, not people.
Because Plausible neither stores information on your device nor reads information from it, no consent is required under Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act.

When you email us
If you email us we process your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you choose to write, so that we can answer you and, if it goes somewhere, discuss and carry out work.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to enquiries and, where the exchange concerns a possible engagement, the steps taken before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Who else is involved
We keep the number of third parties deliberately small. These are the services that may process personal data on our behalf:

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Where a provider is established outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the provider participates in it, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep things
- Server and delivery logs are retained by our hosting and CDN providers for a short period as part of their normal operations, and are then deleted.
- Visitor statistics are aggregated and are not linked to individuals, so there is nothing to delete.
- Email is kept for as long as it stays relevant to our relationship with you, or as long as the law requires — Dutch tax law obliges us to keep business records for seven years. We review older correspondence periodically and delete what we no longer need.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data;
- restrict how we use it;
- hand it over in a portable format;
- stop processing it — where we rely on legitimate interest you may object at any time.
Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month — most likely to say that the only personal data we hold about you is the email you sent us, and that you are welcome to a copy.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
